Preview  Pokemon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire
- By Neal Gittens [Associate Editor]

Nintendo has let the Skitty out of the bag regarding Pokemon Piball: Ruby and Sapphire. Previously unannounced, it first showed up in a video clip at the Nintendo press conference, and in playable form on the E3 floor. Despite not being shown previously, the game is due out in a scant few months, and will addict many, while making no apologies for doing so.

Similar to the first installment, there are two tables to choose from: a Ruby one, and a Sapphire one. Each is laid out differently, and there are certain exclusive Pokemon you can only catch on one table or the other, just like the regular addictive Pokemon games. Those who enjoyed the first Pokemon Pinball (myself included) will absolutely adore the new installment.

It may not be incredibly revolutionary, but pinball is pinball, and Pokemon Pinball is VERY GOOD pinball. At the end of July, the public will face another wave of Poke-goodness, and I for one will be there to lap up every drop of its fun and simplistic brilliance. Pokemon and pinball fans rejoice, for another great game is on its way, and soon.
