Preview  Chessmaster
- By Dan Doll [Editor In Chief]

Ubi Soft's Chessmaster has seen the light of day on many systems, but this marks the first time it's heading to Gameboy Advance.

Chessmaster will re-debut featuring more of what has made it such a popular (as far as chess games go, anyway) game in the first place.

In a nutshell, Chessmaster features many different boards, difficulties, and opponents. The ultimate of which is the Chessmaster himself.

To help novice gamers, Chessmaster includes an extensive tutorial mode that features an incredible 150 pre-played matches for players to view and study.

Chessmaster will also include a two-player mode for players to compete head-to-head. It appears that two options will be available, to play with one system and pass the GBA back and forth, or two link up with two cartridges for linked play.

Having already sold over four million copies, the Chessmaster franchise is the most popular chess game out there. Look for it in stores this fall from Ubi Soft.
