Preview  Dragon Ball Z: Collectible Card Game
- By Dan Doll [Editor In Chief]

Based, as one would guess, on the DBZ trading card game, Infogrames' Dragon Ball Z: Collectible Card game for Gameboy Advance comes across as its exact, handheld replica.

The only problem is there's not much else to it. Here are the features, according to Infogrames:

- Utilize a ladder fighting system to defeat opponents and finally – Cell himself! Players “unlock” new characters as they use strategies and power to save the universe.

- Create multiple, custom decks with over 300 cards from the Saiyan™, Frieza®, Trunks®, and Androids sagas™

- Trade cards with other players and play your favorite characters against your friends or the system!

- Unlock special Attacks, Blocks, and Non-Combat Cards found only on the Game Boy® Advance!

- Master multiple Tokui-Waza Combat styles!

Aside from the convenience of not setting up a board, being able to use all of the cards including a few GBA exclusive ones, and playing the game one-player against a computer opponent, this game offers nothing else unique to the card-based version.

Whether you choose to purchase this game or not should rest on those factors. You'll already want to be a DBZ:CCG fan, and you should be looking for something you can play for situations when the real card game isn't viable.

If not, it might be worthwhile to wait for the next Pokemon game.
