News   Gamecube and YTV Present: Super Duel
- Posted By Kevlar Gorilla, 11.05.2001

"Some are born boys, some are born girls, but all are born to play"

YTV now has a new big-scale advertising campaign and contest running on "the Zone" from 4pm - 9pm weekdays. Just watch "the Zone" for questions, submit the answers on the website on behalf of your gender to gain points, and you could win some nifty swag! Pat Kelly and Sugar of "the zone" also have their own mini-competitions (like the belch-a-thon) to gain points for their sex during the commercial break. 18 lucky people drawn from the registered pool of the winning gender's gender will recieve a Gamecube and three games each. Also, just by registering, you could instantly win one of five additional video gaming systems.

This is actually the first attempt of true advertising in Canada for Nintendo that I have seen, but considering that kids don't pre-order video game consoles from stores, it's well timed to inform the tykes about the Cubes for the jolly holiday season.

More news coming your way, once I get around to it.
