News   Wild, Unfounded Speculation
- Posted By Dan Doll, 06.21.2002

Andy from Miyamoto Shrine took a wild stab at what would be a great easter egg for the upcoming Gamecube F-Zero game.

First, consider that the game is being developed by Amusement Vision, the same guys who made Super Monkey Ball.

Having said that, wouldn't it be a blast if a Monkey Ball was hidden as a playable 'car' in F-Zero?

Remember, this isn't even a rumor, it's just an intriguing example of 'what if?'.

From Miyamoto Shrine:

"Here's the first in-game (I hope) screenshot of F-Zero for Gamecube, it looks a lot better than I expected! Hopefully Amusement Vision will make some crazy courses and extremely fast car speeds. Surely there'll be a secret 'play as monkey-in-ball' cheat, too."

We'd like to hope so.
