Class Dismissed

Members of the press, including us at NPuzzles, haven't really hid the fact that 'Calculus' might not be the best name for a game anymore.
Interestingly, just days after we made that statement, Engine Software, the game's developer, issued a statement to officially change the game's name!
Calculus is gone, and here's what Engine Software had to say:
"Today Engine Software announces that the name of its Gameboy Advance game 'Calculus' will be permanently changed to a new name. Several members of the press as well as our contacts in the United States have commented on the name 'Calculus' as being a bad choice. It seems that 'calculus' is one of the most hated math classes and this is, of course, not the kind of feelings we wish to address with our game. Now, everyone will understand that we are just mere game developers and therefore never had any decent education, so we simply didn't know!
So today we present our new name: Artifact. We had a lot of suggestions for a more appropriate name but this was the winner. The reasoning is simple; we feel that Artifact has the same 'power' in being short, meaningful and clearly in harmony with the overall style of the game."
Seems they took the criticism in stride, and at least 'Artifact' doesn't trigger any of those angry highschool flashbacks.
Look for an updated preview of Artifact later today, and we're even going to try to find out some of the names that were turned down before Engine settled on 'Artifact.' Stay tuned.
