At E3, Kemco announced a new peripheral for Gameboy Advance that allows users to play MP3s and, in conjunction with the GBA, to record music and sounds.
The device offers 8 megs of memory, and works with CompactFlash memory cards when that's used up.
Stand alone, the Pocket Recording Studio plays MP3s and sports enough buttons to allow users to cycle through tracks and adjust the volume. A headphone jack is also included.
When attached to the GBA as shown, users can record music from any source and have the option to remove the voice track to create karaoke music.
From there, users can even record their own voice over the music and play the new track back to hear just how awful they sound.
When attached, the PRS can also use the GBA's speakers for more output.
Kemco's Pocket Recording Studio will be available this Fall.
