News   Namco Making Three Non-Pac Puzzle Games
- Posted By Dan Doll, 05.08.2002

Off the news that Namco is working with Nintendo on the Tri-Force arcade board for a Star Fox space shooter, IGN is reporting several other new Namco titles.

For Gamecube, puzzle fans can look forward to a new Mr. Driller title. Scheduled for a November release in Japan, Mr. Driller is a puzzle game that challenges players to dig through a maze of blocks to escape while avoiding being crushed and finding items to replenish some oxygen.

For this game, up to four players can play at once, and it's a simultaneous set up that eliminates the split-screen.

The puzzle love doesn't stop there, however. Namco has announced two more for Gameboy Advance.

Players can look forward to Mr. Driller Ace, scheduled for August in Japan, and Kotoba no Puzzle Moji Pittan, described as a "logical puzzle game" and scheduled for December in Japan.

Still other Namco games in development include several Gamecube RPGs, and games like Klonoa, Tennis, Tales of Destiny, and Pac-Man Fever, as reported earlier.
