News   Pikmin Series and Sequels Soon
- Posted By Dan Doll, 03.14.2002

Straight from an MSNBC story on Pikmin:

"So far, the game’s sales are meeting Nintendo’s expectations. Arcadia’s Taylor put Pikmin sales through mid- January at more than 250,000 units, placing it third among all Nintendo games. Nintendo is working on Pikmin sequels and says it is talking with television executives about a cartoon based on the characters."

Not only does it "confirm" the plan for more than one future Pikmin game, it offers the first information about the rumored Pikmin television series. Not surprisingly, the plan is for a cartoon.

It might be worth speculating what the cartoon will be like, or what they could add to a sequel. What do you think?
