Nintendo is giving gamers a chance to win $500 and a brand new Gameboy Advance SP. All you've got to do is head over to warioware.biz and come up with your own idea for a Wario Ware, Inc. microgame.

Winning entries will be selected within a couple weeks and should be playable on the site.

Wario Ware, Inc. for Gameboy Advance challenges players to compete in over 200 "microgames".

The microgames usually last around seven seconds, and players are given simple directions like "hit" and "jump in". Then it's up to the gamer to figure out just what to do to win and advance deeper into the game.

It sounds simple because it is, but it's also wildly addictive, and some of the microgames might surprise you.

Nintendo has worked in quick versions of some of its popular games like Donkey Kong and Punch Out!! Wario Ware, Inc. comes at you with sports simulations like racing and soccer, past Nintendo hits like a spin-off of Dr. Mario, and tons of other quirky games.
