Editorials   Nyko Wormlight
- By Dan Doll

Retailing at $9.99, Nyko's Wormlight is a simple, yet effective way to light up the GBA.

The Wormlight's light weight design lets it anchor to the GBA using only the aux. port. It leaves a connection open to allow for multiplayer gaming, as well.

The light extends upward on what appears to be a spring. Think corded telephone, but sturdier. The light sits at the end of this wire, hanging over the GBA behind a glare-refracting lens.

The light can be adjusted to remove some of the glare from the screen, allowing the player to determine his own glare/brightness ratio.

Remove the glare completely and the game will still be playable in the dark, but certainly won't be clear.

Suck it up and put the glare right on the screen, and the entire GBA lights up.

The worm light is one of the oldest GBA lights and it has done the trick for me through many dark nights and even a couple plane rides.

It's light design and flexbility make it pretty handy, and one of the light's only downsides is finding a place to store it during non-use.

From Nyko:
~ Flexible body design for light adjustability
~ Illuminates entire GBA screen
~ Pass-thru port for multiplayer gaming
~ Superior light with minimal GBA battery drain
~ No batteries needed
